Yesterday, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) announced a public comment period for the Holland BPW’s application to build a new Combined Heat and Power plant. The public comment period will begin October 28, 2013 and will run through November 27, 2013.
Although the installation of the new power plant has already been determined not to violate any of MDEQ’s rules or National Ambient Air Quality Standards, the request for comments is required by state and federal regulations.
